If you’ve read any of the original Valerian and Laureline comics, then think of the entire material available to use, and all what Valerian and Laureline inspired, and the moral values it presented at the time. Then, think of the horrible movie that Luc Besson made, the one that bears the name Valerian. Think of the actors he chose, of how much he shat on everything that the original books stood for, and all the canon material he perverted without a shed of respect.

Consider that absolute crime against humanity Luc Besson did with Valerian.

Well, that Section 31 movie was even worse in regards to all of Star Trek.
