So i've been thinking of doing a giftcard giveaway like amazon or something to generate traffic, but do you think it's appropriate for me to do so as an email newsletter provider? or is there a better way?

I think you should be able to figure out a relevant gift or bonus. This wild flailing around, trying to bribe subscribers is more of a sign your newsletter isn't up to snuff.

People want marketing to make people believe things that aren't true about things that aren't there, take actions which contradict self-interest. That's mesmerism.

If a newsletter can't offer some relevant information product, maybe upgrade the newsletter. Pumping up vanity metrics like body count isn't promising. Giving away Amazon gift cards validates Amazon has a viable business. Everybody knew that.

But all that aside what do you think I should improve on then? So far my subscribers like articles ui and content so I don’t think it’s ugly nor filled with crappy content, here is an example of an article : https://twosides.beehiiv.com/p/israel-refuses-call-ceasefire?utm_source=twosides.beehiiv.com&utm_medium=newsletter&utm_campaign=israel-refuses-call-for-ceasefire
