The president and CEO of CBC/Radio-Canada defended the public broadcaster and its independence Thursday from a fresh barrage of pointed Conservative questions about its coverage of the Israel-Hamas conflict.

Uhm... These people are morons....

Gov't funded doesn't mean Liberal (party) funded..... The CBC gets funding when conservatives are in power as well...

The fact that conservatives think that funding = favourable coverage says more about them than anything else
