Just posting in reply to a previous comment, here are the everdrives I have and the sd cards working in them.

Do you have some context? Is it about some SD cards not working or something? Because I use a SNES Everdrive and had random no name cards in them I fished from the bottom of my junk drawer. Have never had any issues at all, seems like if it's a functional card, the Everdrive likes it just fine.

It seems kind of a shame to use high performance cards in them, as the hardware can't use any of that at all.

Yeah, mine were super picky about which worked and which didn't. Not sure why, they were all formatted properly. Just following up on my previous post.
