I'm all for rehabilitation and stuff. I fucking hate "cancel culture": it's often being targeted towards somewhat marginalized creators, who some people on the internet decided to not like. This was so bad at one point, the more "dirtbag" part of the online left turned "I don't like this popular creator, can you help me find something problematic they did in the past?" into a meme for a long while, except tankies entered the whole fight, and also Muskrat tried his best to suppress the better parts of the online left (I wonder why?). I was a former conservative, and before that a proto-alt-righter (except it was called national radicalism, á la Jobbik and MIÉP of Hungary), and even back then I was spooked to stay longer than needed with some early overblown harassment campaigns (which were sometimes manipulated by the right even back then), so I know how scary is to leave it all behind.

However, she needs a lot more to learn, especially the "abortion" part. It's baby killing, until a former friend of yours guilt tripped into raising the baby she was told she could give up for adoption. Or when someone can't have a life saving abortion, because some old farts want to "restore the white race to its former glory", and think abortion is white genocide.

Cancel culture is a made up word. There were always consequences for shitty actions, since forever ago.

But we agree that Trump wishes he could cancel people, like all the comedians on TV that mock him daily. Shit, he wishes he could kill them, and he says it out loud... Is that what you mean by cancel culture?
