NFL positions are too different and compartmentalized compared to MLB or NBA or NHL.

MVP should be like the Cy Young for QBs, and offensive player of the year should be exclusively for skill position players. Then they should add a lineman of the year award

It’s rare that DBs ever win DPOY (I can only recall 3-4 instances ever, that as well should be broken into Dline and back 7
