Victor Cruz was a thing for like two seasons and poof he was gone.

Jeremy Shockey was like a rockstar on the Giants and once they traded him it was like he went into witness protection.

Matt Flynn was a backup who signed a big contract with Seattle after one fluke 500yd passing game for Green Bay. He lost the starting job to rookie Russell Wilson and just bounced around after.

I believe Shockey was instrumental in breaking the BountyGate story with the Saints. So sort of witness protection in a way just with Sean Payton and not the Mafia.
