Marcus Smart previously has also said "No one cares about that" in reference to the in-season tournament during media day. Is the fact that there are no stakes taking away from this new event?

Isn't Jaylen the smart athlete? He should understand the purpose of the tournament and why players need to at least pretend and market it.
