Marcus Smart previously has also said "No one cares about that" in reference to the in-season tournament during media day. Is the fact that there are no stakes taking away from this new event?

I think it’s interesting that some players say they don’t care. It’s something different, has stakes, and you’d think players would have some competitiveness to win another trophy

I’m not familiar with sports that have this, but a lot of esports mid season tournaments aren’t just ignored
