Because 6'6" guys who can run a 4.5 are always going to at least pique the interest of some team or another.
It kind of messes with your mind thinking about these things. 6'6 is a gigantic NFL player. Calvin Johnson is 6'5 and considered an automatic mismatch for corners. However, 6'6 is the average height of NBA players. If anything, 6'6 makes you a small forward or an undersized PF.
'grats on spelling "pique" correctly
See also: Rico Gathers. Hadn't played a snap since middle school, 6th round pick.
Jets should try playing Zack Kuntz and see what happens.
Didn’t antonio gates barely play football? He played basketball in college and was signed undrafted.
Exactly. Just look at em.

The NFL always needs big guys that run fast. Who woulda thunk.
To be slightly more serious, the NFL usually runs through highly athletic big guys in just a couple years so it’s a constantly revolving door
Absolutely this. There's a reason Jordan Mailata was drafted too despite having literally never played football. Third round seems a bit high for someone with Graham's college pedigree but I mean, it worked out so obviously the people who know what they are doing know more than I would have.
Word!
DK Metcalf instantly comes to mind. Non-impressive college stats but an absolute beast of a human.
So the NFL is the 5 ft nothing girl on tinder got it.
