These people are not thinking at all and this kind mob mentality BS is very dangerous. If you're going to do serious crimes like this, doing it on video and leaving your fingerprints everywhere is incredibly stupid and will get you prosecuted.

Serious question...
Is stealing a gun worse than burning the car?
Like is it already so bad they may as well burn it, or does that clearly make it worse, but at least protect them from things like fingerprints.
They are doing a lot of stupid things to leave evidence but the crux of the matter is at least they are doing something.
Doing something in a way that is guaranteed to get everyone caught is not good. Literally, nothing positive was accomplished by these people doing this. The Feds might have even left the vehicle there and had someone in the crowd bait the mob into looting it, just to get this video created so they can turn public opinion against the protests. If you are going to do shit like this, have a plan and know WTF you are doing or you are guaranteed to get fucked.
Public opinion is done. Trump is doing whatever he wants and he does not care about your public opinion. He will send the Gestapo to blast people without any justification and the only thing people will say is "not to agitate him any further".
Public opinion still matters even if it doesn't matter to the fascists. If you want to stop ICE, being viewed as an out of control mob who are running around looting guns is bad tactics. Videos like this become fodder for their propaganda machine, it's a gift to Trump.
