What player in the NFL, past or present, would you have wanted to see succeed so badly but due to injuries, off the field issues, or whatever happened just derailed their career? For me it was unfortunate to see players like Josh Gordon or Justin Blackmon have their careers end or never getting back on track because of off-field issues.

Martavis Bryant is making a comeback but he always felt like another Josh Gordon to me. Could’ve been awesome but unfortunately couldn’t stay in the league.

Two examples that hit closer to home for me are Aaron Williams and Tre White of the Bills. Tre was a top corner his first few years and has had a stretch of brutal injuries. He looked a little slow last year but was coming back in to shape this year only to get hurt again. Aaron was one of my favorite guys on the defense during the drought, but had a couple of neck injuries and ultimately left on sad terms.
