As someone who doesn’t follow the Falcons, can someone ELI5 as to why Arthur Smith has been such a bad coach?

Because he hasn’t used the first round picks that HE SELECTED (Pitts, London, Robinson) and instead has tried to out-smart the opponent with Jonnu Smith passes and jet sweeps.

Besides, Smith should’ve never been a HC in the first place. He only got the job because he called HB Dives and HB Stretches when Derrick Henry got his 2K yard season. And big hint here: those yards weren’t because of AS.
