What player in the NFL, past or present, would you have wanted to see succeed so badly but due to injuries, off the field issues, or whatever happened just derailed their career? For me it was unfortunate to see players like Josh Gordon or Justin Blackmon have their careers end or never getting back on track because of off-field issues.

Bradford was basically another Palmer, except he was drafted into a team with just Steve Jackson, Danny Amendola, and a bunch of JAGs. At least Palmer had a great offense and a rookie season on the bench.

Perfect touch on his passes, perfect mechanics, good pocket presence, incredible accuracy, and a strong arm on top of it. Watching his game as a Viking (against the Saints) in 2017 should show people why Bradford went #1 overall and why he kept getting chances.

If that OL weren't horrendous when he started I would wager he'd have a better career. He won more games his rookie year than the Rams did in the 3 years leading up to his draft, combined, and had they won Week 17 against Seattle the Rams would be a playoff team.

I'm just imagining how McVays offense would look with him instead of Goff or Stafford.
