When is it time to have a serious discussion about put fining refs? I understand the human error aspect of being asked to make tough calls in a high-stress situation, but calls like this are beyond egregious
I’m not saying this is the case because I personally don’t believe it is, but I would not blame anybody for accusing this ref of trying to fix this game for financial gain on his behalf
What even happened, for the comments all I can gather is he mean mugged someone and a ref took offense.
Ok, the first question in the discussion for this calm would be: did the ref break any rules or make a call that was not based on something real? The answer is no. What Giannis did was against the rules. Ok. That discussion about fining this ref is over.
Now the discussion should be about if we want that to be a rule. I for one am fine with light taunting
Define light taunting and heavy taunting? I don't condone either, its a slippery slope. You can be emotional and not a POS. They are playing against eachother not enemies. Its how things escalate, as entertaining as the brawl at the palace was or similar occurances, theres no place in public or sports for that behavior. An innocent fan or player shouldn't have to worry about their own health or children being permanently effected over a bball scuffle that hardly anyone will remember a few months from now.
Nah between this T and his first for saying “he fucking grabbed me” when Stewart went really high on a FT rebound…it’s time to discuss it lol
It happened before
