I’ve wanted a set of LCD-X for a number of years now and finally saved up enough to get my hands on a pair.

They’re my first serious headphone so I don’t really have a point of reference to other offerings on the market, but they’re just as enjoyable to listen to as my Neumann KH120 which is saying something.

They feel beautiful in the hands, and despite my concerns over weight, they’re incredibly comfortable to wear. The distribution of the weight works wonders.

I’ve paired them up with a SubPac for tactile bass, and it’s mind-blowing how enveloping the sound is when they’re both dialled in.

I still have mixed feelings on the Oratory preset, but the more I listen, the more my ears adjust.

Good choice man, although I guess I'm biased lol. Once I got these, I felt like there's no reason to upgrade anymore. Amazed everyday with how great they sound, no matter the media being played. I wear mine for over 12 hours a day as daily drivers, the weight bothered me at first but now I don't even notice it. You'll get a neck of steel in a few weeks.

I've had my X's for almost 3 years now, and I highly, highly recommend getting a ZMF Pilot Pad to wrap around the metal headband above the leather Audeze strap. Those Audeze headband straps stretch out really quick, and you're gonna hate having to replace them all the time. Looks kinda goofy, but it really improves the comfort, and you'll never have to replace the strap again.

Once the ear pads wear out, the Dekoni Choice Leather pads are a great product for the money, super comfy and keeps that low end. I've experimented with a few Dekoni pads and they're definitely my favorite.

If you need any Peace EQs, feel free to DM and I can send you what I have if you want experiment some more. I tend to like Bassy Rap/Electronic/R&B, so I've got a few nice presets.
