Border Patrol Agent Aiming 40mm Launcher At My Head - ICE Protest 1/31

Picture from Saturday's protest at the Portland ICE facility. An agent fixed his 40mm launcher at my head twice, despite me very obviously being a photographer.

The dissonance is amazing. There are ads for murcan tourism playing on tv here ( Australia ). The ads depict national parks, playing children, scenes of beauty. Then you see the real murca in these photos. The scenes from ‘Fallout’ are closer to reality than the tv ads. Makes you wonder who they think they’re fooling with the ads. We laugh at them ( the ads, not the murcans) the same way you laugh at old popeye cartoons.

And the Canadian government STILL hasn't put out a travel warning to the US.

To be fair, most cities are still like the ad. Yeah, there's an undercurrent of tension that wasn't there two years ago, but the majority of areas are not seeing ICE activity. People are going to work and school and not talking about this stuff. It's crazy how people can compartmentalize.

I don't think they'll ever have enough gravy seals to deploy everywhere at once. Think about how many people they would need just to cover all fifty capitol cities (which typically aren't even the biggest cities in the state). They can only patrol one or two large cities at a time, it seems, and look how much pushback they get.

It's all over the media, and it should be, but don't look at photos like that and think it's on every street corner or even every city in the US.

I mean, both are true. That's why some people are saying not to worry about the water on this sinking ship. They think that only if everything is terrible for every single part of the country for everyone will it count, and then say "well it's not that bad"

australians should be well aware behind the smokescreen, im betitng its mostly red states advertising tourism, its thier sole economy. ALso the fact that the tourism industry hurting isnt be reporting is a sign.

Yeah, the Kremlin is having a great time being continually entertained by the slow death of a country. Yeah, they love to show the dissonance, the hypocrisy, and to say the end of the West is coming according to Aleksandr Dugin.

It's crazy how much, even now, American liberals still can't admit fault without resorting to Judeo-Bolshevick style conspiracy theories.

And just so you know, most of the world is happy to see the evil empire collapsing, not just those dang ruskies.

Nah, laugh at the Seppos, they voted for this.
