This simply means they’ve finally run out of money. If that doesn’t help, Apple or Microsoft will just end up buying OpenAI for pennies.

II think Microsoft is in a position where they can grab all of OpenAI's assets without giving them (more) money, if I understand the deal right

The blog (and its audio version, the Better Offline podcast) is very good indeed - somewhere between cathartic and revelatory at all times. I'm overjoyed to hear you liked it, but it sure can be wordy. I pay for the premium newsletter, but I find myself skimping on it... But re-reading and referring to chunks of it often.
