In 2012, Messi scored 64 goals and 24 assits in 48 matches between La Liga and the Champions League, a total g+a of 1.84 per match. In comparision, should Harry Kane continue his current form until the end of the Bundesliga and Champions League, playing 11 matches in the Champions League (same as Messi that year), he would have 63 goals and 21 assists in 45 matches, a total g+a of 1.87 per match.

Didnt messi had a better g/a per game in 13/14 right before his injury? He was in track to break 11/12 record
