Sounds like a great idea.
Sadly it primarily isn't about money, but influence for paramount/larry ellison unlike the Netflix deal would have been.
Imo over the long run WBD could have pulled themselves out of the debt hole they got sattled with after the At&t spin-off. Maybe just not fast enough for the taste of public markets. But i think fundamentally there was a market to support them and their products are good enough.
It is if you're making deals with the rest of oligarchy to get fat subsidies to become the propaganda producer in chief.
