I've created a small website to help people disconnect from screens. No visitors so far, wondering if anyone would actually need the features it offers. Any feedback is welcomed. You can find it here: Byescreen.com

Product development needs to be approached with an audience in mind and continuous iteration through testing from that audience.

Talk to people who want to take breaks from their screens. See if you can find a group of people who are similar and like the direction of your solution. Then iterate to see if you can get them to use this long-term.

Some ideas I have for you:

  • Allow user-contributed break suggestions
  • Tailor suggestions to a certain audience (age, region, relationship status, income, etc.)
  • Explore distribution methods (SEO, browser plugin, app)
  • Add some kind of retention tracking
