These are often young players with potential or show flashes and when they don’t play well people give them a pass. Or could be a very well liked player that people don’t feel like hating on. Or they’re on a small market team so no one pays attention unless the player drops 40

Curry has been there ever since KD left. He doesn't play bad often, but when he does it's like it never happened.
