That will make her easier to arrest in after the midterms.
Except that the midterms are going to take three years to hand count and finish litigation. Mark my words this midterm election will be drawn out for years. It's the easiest way for Trump to stay in office. Drag the midterms out for so long the general election comes up and the midterms will be pointless. Then drag that election out too for years and presto, president for life without writing a new constitution.
I don't know why people keep parroting this, but you don't get to remain in office in the USA without winning an election. A term limited President certainly doesn't.
If one group owns all three branches of government, they can do whatever the fuck they want. We’re seeing this right now.
The American government is throwing all the rules into the fire and the only people in a position of power to stop it are throwing gas on the fire. Yeah if rule of law meant anything Trump shouldn't get a third term but the rule of law isn't worth the paper it's written on. We're in an era of might makes right.
