most of these dudes came from the dankest, dirtiest, shittiest places too. Got a taste of the good shit and forgot where they came from

The majority of the league the last 15 or so years has been players from middle/upper middle and higher households. Guys like LeBron, AI, Jimmy Butler, etc are the outliers

You gotta have the work ethic and genetics to make it to the league, and then add resources (AAU, private workouts, etc) on top and those prospects naturally rise above

Four of the Nuggets starting 5 come from a basketball background with a comfortable upbringing. Basketball is a skill sport that is getting more skilled every year
