Really careful with pressure and expectations, it could take years before we really see him work out, moving to another continent at his age must be incredibly hard and exciting at the same time, the difference in level of football will also be a shocker for him.
Nonetheless, it excites me to see us go to different markets and try something new, we don't have a state backing us, we need to be smart and see the diamonds before they start twinkling.
Could be our next Phonzie if we handle it right.
Phonzie was supposed to be a winger/forward when we signed him. He wasn’t used much by Kovac then Hansi threw him in at LB. A bit of luck for sure, but I think we handled his situation as best we could.
I also think that his speed and Alabas continued evolution to a cb helped a lot
