I was completely hopeless, thinking this it. Lo & behold, the sound was miraculously completely normal, as if it had never been near any water to begin with. However, I am still very worried about internal corrosion that could bite my ass in the future. Is there anything I should be particularly attentive to?

all i can think of to warn you about is that you've got a good chance they'll just die on you without warning. also the sound might go fuzzy
