I was completely hopeless, thinking this it. Lo & behold, the sound was miraculously completely normal, as if it had never been near any water to begin with. However, I am still very worried about internal corrosion that could bite my ass in the future. Is there anything I should be particularly attentive to?

I have no idea if there is any corrosion. It definitely hasn't developed yet, as the accident just occurred today. I am not technically equipped to get rid of it either, so if it develops, then that's gg. I made sure to dry it out as thoroughly as possible, so I'm hoping it'll be fine. I am just still surprised, that there's nothing wrong with the audio, though. It is as if it was never thrown in the washer to begin with.
