The Bulls and DeRozan have discussed an extension, but the sides remain apart on years and salary, and the 34-year-old DeRozan wants to see where the team goes before committing to a return.

There is honestly zero reason to hold on to him.

But this might just be a situation where he has zero market and the Bulls think, fuck it, might as well retain one recognizable guy who we can't get much for while we tear everything else down.
