I don't watch 100% of Pelicans game so take this with a grain of salt, but both have been kind of disappointing this year. Brandon Ingram seems to have mostly plateued. He really hasn't seemed to take a step past the borderline All-Star player, which is perfectly fine not every player can be a bona-fide star. The big problem is if Ingram isn't going to play incredibly well they need Zion to be the #1 guy. So far this season Zion hasn't been the efficiency monster that he had been in the past. He has been fairly inefficient in Post-ups and other spots that he usually would dominate. So between the two of them, they dont really have a good number 1 guy right now which usually separates mediocre teams from good teams. Maybe Zion can get back into rhythm, but until that the Pelicans aren't going to do much.
