Watches

hi, i got my grandma’s house last year and since then i’ve been finding lots of watches, most of them don’t work anymore but this one did, I really like the design, even though I know its a "lady’s" watch, my wrist is not that big so I got it’s service done and started wearing it

my quiestions are:

-does anyone here know from what year is the watch? my watchmaker told me the watch and the strap were original but could not tell me the year

-can i shower/swim with it? (probably not because of the age the watch probably has but I’d still like to know
