I don’t know what the hell you do if you’re Lawrence Frank/Steve Balmer, to be honest. They’re in the worst situation in the league, and it’s probably not even close.

If OKC doesn’t straight up own their pick through 2027, they have the right to swap, so tanking is completely off the table. The Harden trade was a desperate move, and they’ve made themselves a worse team, and have put their future in an even bleaker position in the process. Philadelphia controls their ‘28 and ‘29 picks as well.

All LAC can really hope to do is to try and move PG/Kawhi at the deadline/offseason and get some level of draft capital back so they have something to look forward to other than an OKC pick in the twenties every other year.

If they’re dead set on trying to improve their roster, who can they even move? It’s clear that they need to get bigger, but what do they have of value that they’d be willing to move? Norman Powell? They’re absolutely screwed.

Clippers haven't had a significant pick since Blake Griffin but have been decent most of the time anyway.
