So I’m mainly take pictures of musicians and lately I’ve been noticing more artists wanting video work instead of pictures do you y’all feel like video content is taking over and musicians are caring more about having vlogs and music videos than having a photographer

Video is better than photos, you can see the emotions, experience it way different from a photo. Of course if video is done right. But yes photos loses its value. I rather see a video than a photo

Going to respectfully disagree with you on this one. As someone who shoots event photos, in some cases photos are capable of being much more interesting. Sometimes a show is going slowly, or there aren’t a lot of people there. A good event photographer can still work with this and make the event look like it was amazing, but a video wouldn’t be able to hide that as much.
