In a post from a few days ago, I noticed that someone mentioned that they were afraid to post about their dislike of the Tudor BB58 for fear of downvoting. You know what? The BB is a boring watch that's not worth the money, and Tudor wouldn't be half as popular as it is without the connection to Rolex. If Rolexes were as attainable as they were in past years, cut that by a factor of 10. Would you really buy a BB if the reality were that you could just save a little bit more and get a Rolex Submariner? That's my hot take. What's yours?

I was gonna ask which one as they have a rather large Seamaster line:

  • Aqua Terra
  • Diver 300M
  • Planet Ocean
  • Heritage Models

With the mention of wave dial and helium valve, I am assuming this post is referring to Diver 300M

Yep was referring to the 300M.

I really want to like the AT because i was looking for a GADA watch, but IMO the hands kill it. I could never really wear it with a suit, which is what I wear Monday-Friday.

I look at the old school Omega’s, like the old Seamaster DeVilles, and honestly to me that is so much more classy I just wish they still had that aesthetic.

If James Bond really existed he’d wear a classier watch like that, not a really gawdy chunk of steel thing.

Interesting I thought AT is fine with a suit

My fave AT’s are the first generation, and I would be fine wearing one of those with a suit
