Decided to look back through the Bad Boy Pistons era for a second and I'll be totally honest in admitting I had no idea Bill Laimbeer started his career with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was only there a season and a half as an off the bench player before being traded but I envisioned him, Isiah, & Dumars always playing for Detroit their entire careers.

From current allstar level players I have three

Nikola Vucevic played his rookie season with Philly. It was the lockout shortened season. After the season concluded Hinkie initiated The Process™. Vucevic was part of the megatrade that sent Dwight to the Lakers.

Khris Middleton played his rookie season with Detroit. After the season he was a throw in in the Jennings - Knight swap.

Domantas Sabonis played his rookie season with the Thunder. It was the Russ MVP season. After the season he was a throw in in the trade that sent Paul George to OKC for picks and Oladipo.
