Both Garnett and Olajuwon at one time had the best post moves of any frontcourt player in the league. They had an ample amount of post moves that they utilized as well as an above-average mid-range jumpshot. But both of them were AMAZING defenders. They could block shots ferociously and get into their opponents' heads.

Both have won the "Defensive Player of the Year Award" as well as the "MVP" award.

At no point in his career did Kevin Garnett have anything even approaching the best post moves of any front-court player in the league.

Garnett was a very pedestrian offensive player in the post. Not great at getting at down low and finishing, but very good at distributing. Garnett's big flaw- and why this comparison is nuts- is that he was not a great scorer in the half-court. Come playoff time he was too often chucking up turnaround 18 footers. Hakeem was just a beast everywhere on the court, and was devastating in the low box.
