I'll gladly spend money to see this, since it's a movie I want to see. I'm not subscribing to paramount plus no matter what tho
I already watched it, and if it's in theatres, I'll go see it there. I would rather choke on a pretzel than pay for Paramount plus.
Is it good? I'm very interested in it but too scared to google it because of potential spoilers.
The story is really well written, from a script writing perspective anyway. A lot of pleasing circularity in the overall story.
They nailed the characterisations of the aged up heroes. They're slightly mellower, slightly wiser, but still that ragtag band of rascals.
I was surprised that Dante Basco didn't reprise his role as Zuko, but the new guy did good work. Overall, a lot more Asian voice actors in this one, which is a strong choice imo.
Some of the story beats were slightly hasty, but it retains the emotional legibility of the TV series. The animation was overall stunning, some pieces seemed to cut corners with CGI in the background but it's not overly abrasive.
Here’s a short list of the artists that worked on the movie if you want to support them directly.
