but it is mostly ineligible for men, and its not covered most of the time by the insurance.
I'm an adult male and it was covered for me. Have you checked recently? It may have changed since it is still relatively new for men.

This is false. Source, I work in health insurance. We would rather pay for the shot than the multiple cancers it could have prevented.
