Ok can you further break it down? I have know idea what a TOR is, I think its a torrent. Or a Talis Live thing?

TOR stands for The Onion Router. It's a web browser

TOR is a secure VPN service that doesn’t necessarily exit to the regular Internet; TOR Browser is a Firefox-based web browser with the TOR VPN client built in.
