That's why Ukrainian nationalists (Banderites) burned down a Trade Union building in Odessa in 2014. Ukrainian nationalists supported by the US took power in a coup. There was then an anti-Russian ethnic cleansing campaign across Ukraine but most especially in the ethnic Russian regions for 8 years along the Eastern border.
History does not start in 2022.
