99% of watches don’t need lume. Yes, it’s a cool feature to have, but to pretend it’s necessary or even a deal breaker for a watch is comical

I completely disagree because, to me, the ability to check the time in the middle of the night without having to blast my face with the light of my smartphone is one of the very few areas where a watch is genuinely superior in terms of functionality.
I'm with you on this one, I find myself looking at my watch in the dark at least once a day
Yeah! People will say that a watch is nothing more than men's jewelry these days because it does nothing that another tool doesn't do 100x times better, and I think that's true 99% of the time, but lume is only of the very exceptions. Lume genuinely gives you a functionality that you can't really get anywhere else, the ability to check the time in the dark without the need to turn on a light.
