Genuinely curious especially from Spurs fans because I haven't watched much Spurs at all these past few years. They haven't been great but also haven't had a great roster. They've still developed some really nice players with late lottery and late first round picks. But right now with Wemby I've heard podcasts talk about the Sochan PG experiment and whether or not it's a good idea. And also there's discussion about the Spurs shot profile of shooting too many long twos. I haven't dug into any stats, but was curious how much merit there is to these discussion points and how people who have actually watched the Spurs evaluate Pop at his current age.

For a rebuilding team like San Antonio is, his track record for player development is top notch.

As they transition from a rebuilding team to a (hopefully) contending team…who knows? He was pretty great 6 years ago, but the league moves fast and it’s hard to keep up.
