I have seen an increase in e-bikes even though it's very dangerous to walk or cycle because here there are barely any sidewalks or bike lanes

Australian so the cars here aren't the giant pickups in the US, but as a risk tolerant cyclist, I enjoy slowing traffic down in places where there is no bike infrastructure in the hope that their complaints help get the bike infrastructure repaired
