Ads send me into a fit of rage now. I will sustain a scream at the top of my lungs just to drowned out the audio if I have to. I'm so done.
Im watching YouTube with chromecast sometimes and its constant ads that just comes more and more often the more you watch a video. The entire service screams it wants me to stop watching. And I do, normally i just watch one or two videos and then the ads are too much. I get angry by the interruptions.
On ads i turn the volume down to zero and intentionally stare at the counter so I dont even know what ad they are playing. I hate them.
Every New Years Eve, I spend about 15 minutes watching network television with my parents while the Times Square ball drops, and I literally ask them every time "how the fuck do you live like this?"
I spend the first 15 minutes of every new year sending texts to all my family and friends in Wisconsin telling them to get registered on myvote.wi.gov for their absentee ballots for the year because we have to renew every single year and its my resolution to bug everyone about it until they send me โi votedโ stickers (or excuses for why they haven't a sticker but have voted) in the spring election which is days from my birthday.
Nobody buys me a gift, they send me pictures of stickers. Civic participation is my requested gift. Spring elections are shit for turnout.

UBOL (uBlock Origin Lite) seems to work pretty well in Chrome still.

No, but it's the best option for users who are unable/unwilling to switch browsers.
Chromium is all I can install GrapheneOS on. Chromium has its uses, pretty sure it's opensource? And there are privacy friendly chromium browsers like a debloated brave.
I installed graphene without chromium. Not sure what you are doing.
