HE-1000 Stealth
Edit: totally forgot about the Aful Performer 5 that were in my ears when I posted my reply. I might have a problem...
How are the stealth? I've been eyeing them today, coming from an LCD 2C.
They are great. I upgraded from the Arya V2. Totally different than the LCD 2C. Can’t listen to them every day though. They are quite intense and the treble can get spicy. But on other days they are perfect for me: fast, detailed, airy and controlled. Not bass heavy imo. So you might want to hang on to the 2C for some contrast.
I decided to try out the Arya Stealth (which I think is the same as the Arya V2, hifiman's naming scheme is a tad confusing). I'm looking for something with a lot of sound stage and detail as a contrast to the lcd 2c. The Arya Stealth is just priced too well for me to really consider the Arya organic or the HE-1000 stealth at the moment. I could get a hd660s2 for fun with the price difference in the future.
You can’t go wrong with the Arya Stealth. From memory it has a slightly smaller soundstage than the V2. Lots of detail though!
