And I will repeat it again:

Religion is a mental illness, and it is the largest reason why we can't have nice things in this world. I want all religions gone, prohibited.

If I say that I have a personal relationship with goobagooba, this super best friend in my head who tells me things, I get medications that fixes that problem. If I say the same about jesus, suddenly I can start a church, WTF? Somehow mental illness is not an illness when a religious name is invoked? To me that is as insane a situation as us allowing billionaires to get even more money.

What this headline should read is "Province leader is schizophrenic and in need of medication, or is lying her ass off" because THAT would be an honest headline.

There is no god, at least not as far as we can tell. We've looked for him high, we looked for him low, we looked for him in quantum mechanics, we've looked for him in the stars, there is no god to be found anywhere. That sounds harsh, but at least its a truth in a world where lies rule the world. There are no miracles, all miracles always have been "my invisible cancer got magically cured!" Call me when god is ready to regrow someones arm, or dedecapetates somebody in front of me. I see that, I might wonder about it. Until then, there is no god, please.

The only reason why religion keeps being perpetuated is because it is such an effective tool for population control. Just tell the people a dumbass fairytale that makes no sense whatsoever (biblical plotholes, anyone?) but tell them that the main character loves them personally, they'll believe you somehow. Keep pushing that narrative, keep coming with nonsensical rules, and soon enough your new slaves will be ready to do any inexcusable crime from raping children (hello catholic church!) to murdering children (Hi IDF, how is your god treating you?) to blowing up children (praise be allah, anyone?) to being a death cult intent on ending the world so that jeebus comes back (hiiidihooo many protestant sects!) to whatever the hell it is that the hindus tend to do.

I do not discriminate, I hate all religions equally.

Start loving humans already dammit

How do you define a religion?

Is it just theism, believing that there is some god or gods that run the universe and you need to do their bidding? How about sun worshipers, or Unitarians? A definition wide enough to catch ALL religions would likely also catch D&D clubs, gyms, businesses and governments.

I agree that a significant fraction of the world's pain, both contemporary and historical, is the result of religious nut jobs. But calling to make all religions illegal is calling for legal repercussions against people for the things they think. Thought crime is not a good look.

Better to just remove tax exempt status and other extra privileges and protections that religions are afforded, and force them to carry their fair share of the social load. Don't protect their hate speech. Don't allow them to dictate how others live their lives.
