As a companion to the "who is a player you don't get the hype for" thread, here is something more positive. Who is a player you feel is either disrespected, misunderstood, underrated, or straight-up maligned to an unfair degree?

My pick is THJ. Every single time I watch this dude play (usually against the Lakers) he looks like Prime TMac. He just gets to his spots, elevates, and knocks everything down with such a pure stroke. He seems unstoppable at times. And yet, I know Mavs fans constantly are disappointed with his inconsistent play, so maybe I am missing something with my few-and-far-in-between impressions.

Who else you got?

People who hate LeBron usually hate him for reasons that have nothing to do with basketball. Usually has to do with political statements he has or hasn't made.
