I want to buy ticket to a game for my husband for Christmas. He is a fan of Miami Heat, but it’s not possible to go to Miami atm. So, I was hoping I could find a game in the northeast that is playing and hopefully it won’t disappoint him too much.

The concern I have is that I don’t know how the game works and I’m worried that if I buy tickets for a game in January, the teams might not make it to that game and it will get refunded.

Would it be dumb of me to buy tickets 2 months in advance? Also, would you as a nba fan still want to watch a game if it wasn’t your team playing?

If you go to Ticketmaster you can look up the Miami Heat, then filter by away games and then see what is close to you. Looks like you can go see them play the Nets, the Raptors (if you can go to Canada) and the Wizards and some of the seats look cheap af. If you can, buy tickets that are center of the court, even if they are nosebleeds. But even corner pockets can be good if they are close. Depends on what kind of view you are looking for. Also, you can look up seat views by googling it. Good luck! You can DM me if you want, I’m a wife that loves basketball and can help you!
