Well it's not exactly simple, it's not just plain random songs from a playlist. Getting a computer to run a radio station would be an impossible task even 5 years ago and now we're here. Given the current state of technology I would say that it's pretty impressive, the only one I would really consider to be an actual failure is grok, all the other "failures" were actually quite amusing and weren't strictly speaking failures anyway.

Whether or not we want an AI running radio station is an entirely separate question.

One of the biggest problems in AI at the moment is people give the AI stupid ill thought out prompts and then act all surprised when weird things happen. Like that AI that posted a hit piece about someone because they wouldn't merge their GitHub code change, but it turned out that the guy that had set up the AI had basically given it the prompt to be an utter arse.

This part is completely irrelevant, because the task is simple for a human.
Just like doing the dishes is a simple task, but no robot can do it.
