The fact that I’m already 35 makes me feel old af

[–] Ok_Practice8288@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Why does everyone say shit like this? Yes, we are all aging buddy boy

[–] Typical-Gold-29@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I'm the same age as KD, it feeks old af

[–] Potential_Ad6769@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Curry is also 35 which is weird because I've always thought of KD as older

The fact he’s a year younger than me makes me feel old af.

[–] Youngsiebz@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

The fact I’m a year younger than him makes me feel old af lol

[–] growsonwalls@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I actually remember hearing about him when he was in high school. That he was supposed to be amazing, etc. Damn I feel old.

[–] NatureTrailToHell3D@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (2 children)

As a Sonic fan, KD keeps me young.

[–] Spider-ManQuestions@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I will never forget seeing him and Gil when I was a kid. KD checked in and the energy in the room changed, everyone was like "oh shit". This was before losing the Sonics was a sure thing so everyone was still hyped at the prospect.

I still can’t believe PJ Carlesimo actually tried to use KD, all 6’11 of him, as a fucking shooting guard 🤣🤣🤣

[–] Repostbot3784@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Tbf kd would be a great sg

[–] Material_Unit4309@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

He’s literally your prototypical Wing Scorer. Can easily play 2 or 3. He came into the league even thinner than he is now. He was far more suited to play 2 than 4 at that point.

[–] andoCalrissiano@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

why not, he was skinny and good at shooting. height is not the sole determinant of your position. 3s back then were very beefy like Corey Maggette, Paul Pierce, Caron Butler, Rashard Lewis, etc

When Kelly Olynyk subbed in for Utah last night and they said it was his 11th season I was like, oh fuck, I’m old

[–] Wazflame@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (2 children)

This is Giannis’ 11th season and I’m like how is this possible lol

[–] Naismythology@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

If you discount the three games he played with Pau Gasol one random year before Gasol had a career-ending injury, this is also the first season Giannis has played with a Hall of Famer.

[–] theragu40@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I was legitimately kind of excited to have pau gasol, it was really a bummer he got hurt so fast.

[–] hadmeintiers@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Heard it was javale mcgee's 16th season during the knicks wizards game so i went and signed up for my local bingo tournament

[–] CornyPhant@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I even remember he was called "the kid with the golden touch" lmao we old people

[–] bilzui@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

same. time flies

[–] WhiskeyTangoBush@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

35? No, that can’t be true. He’s only 1 year older than me, and that would make me… oh no 😩

[–] matrixreloaded@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (3 children)

You know he’s getting old when we go from hating him/calling him snek to realizing we don’t have him much longer and appreciating/enjoying his game.

[–] WhiskeyTangoBush@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

As a Longhorn fan, I will NEVER hate KD. Dude retroactively changed my mind about LeBron going to Miami. I still think “The Decision” was the worst possible way to break up with an entire city, but LeBron opened the player empowerment door in a massive way.

The KD Warriors were def an IRL cheat code, but they were also undeniably the most insanely stacked team of all time.

[–] snek-jazz@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

hey man, what you got against sneks?

[–] WhiskeyTangoBush@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Also that’s where I’ve been with LeBron for the last several years. I hated him when he went to Miami. Since his Cleveland title I’ve grown to appreciate being able to watch one of the 2 greatest players of all time while we still can.

Like.. he’s played close to this same level for 20. FUCKING. YEARS. We’ll never see that again. Highest possible expectations thrust upon an 18 year old kid, and he has delivered and VASTLY exceeded in every way possible.
