I loved the subtle joke that the letters randy chose spelled "bong".

I am pretty sure the subtle joke is actually that he chooses all the letters for BINGO except for I. So it is in another way mentally guiding you to fill in that letter for the solved puzzle. That is the most clever part of the joke to me.
